We have access to numerous test tracks and test facilities worldwide that can be contracted to meet your most stringent requirements.
Subjective and Objective Vehicle Evaluation
We conduct expert subjective and objective vehicle ride, handling, steering, braking, NVH, and performance assessments with your vehicle(s) using appropriate public routes, your test track or rented facility. Single vehicle and comparative evaluations are subjectively rated using the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J1060 rating scale and terminology used by the automotive OEM's and suppliers. Comparison of components, systems, or entire vehicles can be performed. Objective data can augment the subjective assessment per customer requirement. Results and recommendations are communicated on-site and by written report.Project Management

I am available on a per race or season basis to help your team win more races. On board data acquisition, 4 or 7 post shaker tests, aerodynamic force balance measurements, tire data analysis, suspension damper dynamometer measurements, and chassis kinematics and compliance testing are some of the tools I use to help you go faster. As a development and race driver and engineer, I can communicate with your driver to extract valuable feedback. There is a lot more to the setup than "loose" and 'tight". This feedback is then translated into setup changes to achieve the optimum vehicle balance for a given set of track conditions.Vehicle Evaluator Training, Skill Assessment, and Driver Coaching
We provide vehicle evaluator skill assessments and training for any aspect of the vehicle dynamics engineer's job- ride, routine handling and steering or max or loaded handling. We observe evaluation techniques and identify evaluation sensitivity strengths and coach techniques for improvement. We provide the client with a confidential report with recommendations for follow-on training for each evaluator. We consult with your product development and test engineering staffs to design courses for ride and NVH (noise,vibration, and harshness) dynamics, vehicle handling, and steering evaluations, both on-road and off-road. We take advantage of natural terrain features whenever possible to minimize site preparation costs and meet the desired testing objectives of the facility. Examples of our work include the Evaluation and Handling Road and Lyman Trail off road facilities at the Chrysler Chelsea Proving Grounds and Sidewinder Trail high speed off-road handling track at the Chrysler Arizona Proving Grounds.Damper Dynamometer Measurements
Using our hydraulic dynamometer, we can provide you with a complete suspension damper performance analysis. The software permits characterization and comparison of your dampers in a variety of graphs and tables. We can also take your in-car suspension data acquisition and reproduce the velocity/acceleration traces in the track segments where your car needs help.
